The foundation works to promote literacy throughout Alberta by granting money to organizations in Alberta that it feels need it most to further literacy.

AlphaPlus Centre

AlphaPlus actively supports research and innovative use of technology in adult basic education.
Dedicated to helping Alberta families through programs, research, and training.
Frontier College's volunteers teach adults, children, and teens across Canada through non-formal learning.
This organization trains volunteer tutors to teach Canadians literacy skills. It also has a national bookstore to provide resources to literacy workers and students.
Literacy Alberta serves to support adult basic education in the province and to influence public policy on literacy issues.
ABC CANADA is a joint initiative of business, labour, education and government seeking to develop an educated and adaptable workforce.
Seeks to inform the government and public about adult literacy, as well as provide a national forum for provincial and territorial literacy organizations to work together.
A Federal program to make literacy a bigger part of Canadian society and to make life in Canada more accessible to those with weak literacy skills.
