WE BELIEVE
-
Each patient is a unique person.
-
Each person has spiritual, cultural, mental, physical, social and economic needs which must be considered to achieve the potential for wellness.
-
Our staff is our most vital resource, and they deserve a professionally-satisfying work environment which fosters learning.
-
Care is an essential element of service to patients.
-
Understanding of the disorders we treat and acceptance of the people affected by them will be achieved through education and advocacy.
-
Collaborative planning with all hospital and community partners will ensure a comprehensive range of services offered as close to home as possible.
-
Active research in diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, within HPH and in partnership with others, will ensure better care for the people we serve now and in the future.
-
A high level of quality should be assured in all endeavours undertaken.
